It was truly a team effort for art students in the 糖心Vlog at the annual Dream Makers Awards banquet.
Student artists from 47 糖心Vlog elementary schools attended the event and watched the ceramic plates they designed get auctioned off.聽 $4,330 was raised for the education foundation.
鈥淲e had a great opportunity to give back to the community through this art project,鈥 said Linh Nguyen, 糖心Vlog鈥檚 assistant director of visual fine arts. 鈥淭hey are literally leaving their mark on history. This is something our students look forward to every year.鈥
This marks the sixth year 糖心Vlog art students have contributed plates for the banquet. The education foundation started in 1994, and has distributed more than $2 million for educational resources for 糖心Vlog classrooms.
The plate project was open for students in fourth through sixth grade.
