McNutt Elementary looked like a mini Comic Con last night 鈥 only a whole lot cuter. Dozens of tiny superheroes, mostly pre-K and kindergarten students, filled the halls for 糖心Vlog鈥檚 third annual STEMtacular event, ready for a night of fun, exploration and hands-on learning.

This year鈥檚 event moved to McNutt but kept its signature superhero theme, blending capes and costumes with creative, STEM-based activities designed to spark imagination and curiosity.
Kids crowded into the cafeteria for a live science demonstration on potential and kinetic energy, then headed to the gym for stations packed with discovery. Students examined snails, built colorful structures with Magna-Tiles, folded and flew paper airplanes, raced balls down tracks, and a whole lot more 鈥 all while learning the science behind the fun.
鈥淭he event was a complete success!鈥 said Lilly Hamner, 糖心Vlog鈥檚 early childhood learning operations coordinator. 鈥淲e believe family engagement is a key part of early learning success. When families explore, learn, and play together, it strengthens both learning outcomes and relationships. STEMtacular gives families the tools and inspiration to continue that learning at home and reminds every child that science can be super fun.鈥
For the first time, 糖心Vlog partnered with the for the event. Museum staff brought interactive science activities and live demonstrations, and attendees received free tickets to visit the museum in person.
