Winter Weather Make-up Day: Keeping Learning on Track

Due to school closures caused by the winter storm last month, Monday, March 23, 2026, will now be a regular instructional day for all students and staff at all campuses and departments.听

Bad weather make-up dayThis day was originally designated as a bad weather make-up day in our Board-adopted calendar for the 2025-2026 school year.听

Every instructional day matters, and each one plays an important role in student learning and progress. After weather-related closures, it is important for us to thoughtfully restore as much classroom time as possible, so students remain on track academically.听

We understand calendar changes impact family schedules, and we do not make these decisions lightly. Our goal is to be proactive, transparent, and respectful by announcing this change more than six weeks in advance.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership as we work together to support the academic growth of our students.听
