In accordance with , the 糖心Vlog provides human sexuality instruction in compliance with law and Board policy. As required by law, the District must obtain written consent before a student can be provided human sexuality instruction.
Your student will have the opportunity to participate in the district-approved Growth and Development Program this spring. This program is provided to all students in grades 4 through 6 and will be taught during physical education class in Spring 2026.
4th-5th Grade: Always Changing and Growing Up (Procter & Gamble)
6th Grade: Growing Up! (Marshmedia)

This program is designed to:
- Recognize the importance of personal hygiene and self-care
- Develop healthy habits, including nutrition and self-care
- Understand the physical and emotional changes of puberty as a normal part of development
- Feel comfortable discussing puberty-related questions with parents and trusted adults
Parents & guardians are welcome to:

- Opt their child out of any part of the unit without academic or disciplinary consequences

Parents/guardians will complete and return the form provided by the campus to allow or decline participation. Students who opt out will receive alternative lessons.
